Michael J. Urban, Psy.D., HSPP
Clinical Psychologist

​Dr. Urban is a graduate of Indiana State University where he earned his Doctor of Psychology Degree. He has been in full time private practice since 1989 and provides a comprehensive array of services including individual, family, and marital therapy; psychological assessment; and business consultation. He is also skilled in athletic performance enhancement and has worked with high school and college athletes from a variety of sports. Dr. Urban is the former president of the Indiana Psychological Association and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at the IU School of Medicine in Terre Haute. In addition, he is a consultant at the Union Hospital Family Practice Residency program where he supervises graduate level psychology students and provides support to the medical residents as they gain experience dealing with behavioral health issues. ​​

Jeffrey M. Huttinger, Psy.D., HSPP
Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Huttinger is a clinical psychologist with a Doctor of Psychology Degree from Indiana State University. He has been a member of Murphy, Urban, and Associates since 2006 and became a partner in 2016. He provides individual, couples, and family therapy to clients across the lifespan, drawing on evidence-based approaches and a collaborative treatment style. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Huttinger provides supervision to doctoral psychology students. Dr. Huttinger has been a forensic evaluator in the region for the past 17 years. His forensic practice includes a broad range of court-related assessments, including competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, insanity evaluations, risk assessments, parental fitness, and child custody evaluations. He also conducts comprehensive psychological assessments, including ADHD evaluations, cognitive testing, and diagnostic assessments for a variety of clinical concerns.​​​​​

Laura L. Fredendall, Psy.D., HSPP

Dr. Fredendall is a graduate of Indiana State University where she earned her Doctor of Psychology Degree. She has been in full time private practice since 2000 and provides individual, family, and marital therapy, and psychological assessment. She specializes in anxiety disorders, PTSD, and women's issues.

Kathryn A. Springer, Psy.D., HSPP
Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Springer is a licensed psychologist and practicing attorney. She obtained her Doctor of Psychology from Indiana State University in 2004 and her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1998. Dr. Springer provides a full range of services to individuals, couples and families out of her Sullivan Office.​​​​​​​​​​​​

Thomas E. Rea, Psy.D., HSPP
Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Rea is a 2008 graduate of Indiana State University where he earned his Doctor of Psychology degree. He has been in private practice since 2012 and serves clients of all ages. He provides individual, family, and marital therapy; assessment for ADHD, depression, and anxiety.

Troy Hardwick, LMHC, LCAC

Troy Hardwick is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned his master’s degree from Indiana State University in 1992. He has over 30 years of experience in the community providing therapeutic services to individuals, families, and couples. His areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self/esteem difficulties, and resolving grief and trauma. Troy is also a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor who earned certification in the addictions field in 1996. He holds the Master Addiction Counselor credential through NAADAC and is a qualified Substance Abuse Counselor (SAP) which enables him to assist in resolving DOT violations.

Dawn Castner-Rector, Ph.D., HSPP

Dr. Castner-Rector is a graduate of Indiana State University where she earned her Doctor of Philosophy Degree in 2004. She has been in full time private practice since 2014. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Castner-Rector worked in community mental health in various clinical and leadership positions for well over twenty years. Dr. Castner-Rector specializes in evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship, grief, and adjustment concerns. She primarily serves adult clientele offering individual, couples, and family therapy. Her clinical approach is integrative with emphasis on cognitive, behavioral, and person-centered therapies.

Brandi Caudill-Roach, Ph.D.

Dr. Caudill-Roach graduated from Indiana State University in 2021 with a Doctor of Philosophy degree. She provides individual and family therapy for clients of all ages. Dr. Caudill-Roach utilizes Cognitive Behavioral therapy as well as a mindfulness based approach to help others reach their goals. Among her areas of interest includes: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Social and Behavioral Concerns, and Grief. Dr. Caudill-Roach is proficient in psychological assessment of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as other concerns which require further investigation.

Michaela Blake, M.S.
Doctoral Trainee

Michaela Blake is a Master's level therapist currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Indiana State University. She provides services to children, adolescents and adults including treatment of depression, anxiety, behavioral issues as well as assessment for ADHD, depression and anxiety.

John Britton, M.S.
Doctoral Trainee

John Britton is a therapist and doctoral trainee in Clinical Psychology at Indiana State University. He provides psychotherapy and psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults, using cognitive-behavioral and health-psychology approaches that are tailored to each client. His clinical work includes treatment of anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, substance use, and personality-related difficulties, as well as assessment for ADHD, mood, and anxiety disorders.
John brings a warm, collaborative style to therapy and focuses on helping clients understand their concerns, build effective coping skills, and make meaningful, sustainable changes in their daily lives.
